4月11日 Manchester United 2-0 Arsenal FC April 9, 2006 / 9 de Abril del 2006
 Que partidazo, el united domino todo el partido, solo el principio fue de los gunners con unos cuantos remates de Van Persie que no complicaron. Todos estuvieron genial, sobre todo en la defensa, Nemanja Vidic y Mikael Silvestre, simplemente exelentes (sin quitarle meritos a Neville y Ferdinand). Los goles fueron muy buenos, el primero un centro a media altura desde el costado izquierdo de Silvestre que domina en el area Rooney y no perdona mandando el balon al fondo de las redes. El segundo gran pase de Neville por la derecha que permite a Rooney desbordar por la banda hasta adentrarse al area y poner el pase gol a Ji-Sung Park para el 2-0 definitivo. El campeonato, aunque paresca dificil que lo pierda el Chelsea, es posible anunque dependa de ellos y de victorias absolutas del United de aqui a final de temporada (incluyendo el partido vs Chelsea en Stamford Bridge).

What a game!! United dominated the gunners all the game, just only in the beining that Arsenal made some danger with Van Persie, but nothing really dangerous. Everyone were great!, Nemanja Vidic and Mikael Silverstre were so great (Without taking merits from Neville and Ferdinand). The goals were exelents goals!, the first one, great long mid-aired left cross by Silvestre that Rooney dominate inside the area and back of the net for the 1-0. The second one, great pass form Neville for Rooney who enters the area and gives the goal pass to Ji-Sung Park, and the final 2-0 for United. The premiereship is not decided yet, is hard but Chelsea could lose the premiereship if United wins all the lasts games and they drop some points (3 of them, hopefully in the clash at Stamford Bridge against us).

 Muy buen partido, Ryan Giggs vuelve a romper redes, esta ves dos veces en menos de 15min, el primero un golazo de tiro libre que no nos hace estrañar a David Beckham y el segundo un pase extraordinario de Wayne Rooney y una definicion a lo grande, al raz del suelo.
Fue un partido donde se perdieron muchas oportunidades, sobre todo Rooney, pero a la final tuvo su recompensa con el tercer gol del partido. Muy bien jugados por todos, de nuevo Vidic en la defensa estubo muy bien.

Very nice game, Giggs is back again in the scoreboard with two great goals, the first one a Jewel of a goal, a free kick that makes us not miss Beckham, and the second one, an exelent throug pass from Rooney and a great definition that sends the ball back of the net.
It was a game were a lot of oportunities were lost, specialy Rooney, but in the end he had his goal for the final 3-0. Exelent played by everyone, and Vidic again was good in the defence.

 Buen partido, VanNistelrooy otra ves en la banca y no por jugar mal, ya que Saha esta respondiendo como deve ser, con goles, y esta ves fueron los 2 unicos goles del united en el partido. Este juego tampoco lo jugo Wes Brown por una lesion y en su lugar lo hiso Vidic y de que manera!, lo ha hecho muy bien con Rio en la defensa central.
Los goles de Saha, muy buenos, sobre todo el cabesazo luego del centro de Ryan Giggs, ha sido el mejor cabesazo que e visto en mucho tiempo, sin duda hiso un gran partido.
Como pueden notar, (si es que lo notaron) el partido fue hace 4 dias y apenas hoy es que estoy haciendo el reporte. La razon?... estoy terminando el primer termino en la universidad y estas ultimas semanas estan fuertes y me han restado mucho tiempo libre, tratare de luego hacer mas pronto cada reporte.

Nice game, VanNistelrooy again on the bench and not for playing bad, is 'cause Saha is answering on the field with goals, this time the two united goals from the french man. This game wasn't played either by Wes Brown (injury) and in place of him played Vidic, and what a performance!, he did great in the center back with Rio.
Saha's goals were great, specialy the header, it was the best header that i have seen in a while, no doubt Saha was on his day.
I'm writting this 4 days later, if you haven't noticed, the Reason?... i'm finishing the first term in the university and these lasts weeks are full of work to do and study, so my time has been reduced by half. I'll try to do every report more recently.

 Exelente partido, todos jugaron un exelente juego, Park, Ronaldo, Brown, pero Wayne Rooney se destaco por haber anotado los dos goles del partido en solo 12 minutos, y pudieron haber sido mas, tal ves un 5 o 6-0 a favor, y no solo de Rooney si no de Cristiano Ronaldo que definitivamente se le nego el arco en este partido, tuvo grandes oportunidades de anotar sin exito. En el otro partido el Liverpool perdio en Higbury 2-1 con dos goles de Henry y asi el United estaria asegurando la segunda plaza de la liga premiere.

Exelent game, well played by everyone, Park, Ronaldo, Brown... But Rooney was incredible!! he scored twice in less than 12min and he could have scored again. This game should have finished 5 o 6-0, there were a lot of chances, including those of Cristiano Ronaldo that somehow did't get in the back of the net, a little frustrating for him, but he played a great game. In the other game, the others Reds were beaten by Arsenal in Higbury 2-1, goals by Henry and Luis Garcia, this is good for United in the race for the 2nd place of the premiereship.

 Muy buen partido, me alegra ver a Park desde el comienzo, en este partido el Wigan como se esparaba sostuvo mas esta ves al United e incluso el partido estaba para el empate, pero para mala fortuna del Wigan un autogol cuando agonizaba el partido por parte de Chimbonda le dio el triunfo necesario al United para mantenerce estable en la segunda plaza de la liga premiere, por encima del Liverpool. Tres jugadores, Van Nistelrooy, Ronaldo y Brown, aunque Ruud entro en susitucion lo hiso muy bien en el tiempo que estuvo, y Brown que quiere estar definitivamente defendiendo a Inglaterra en el mundial, simplemente defendio bien sin complicaciones, y Cristiano Ronaldo va en aumento con la produccion de goles no solo con el United si no con la seleccion de portugal de la cual es el maximo referente.

Good game, glad to se Park in the starting 11. In this game Wigan held on United more than the last time in the CC final, this game could have been a draw, only that unlucky own goal by Chimbonda did the game for United, but United wasn't playing bad. 3 players: VanNistelrooy, Ronaldo, Brown; Ruud came as a substitute but he did great, and Brown is doing very well on the defence, he has to be on the World Cup (Beware Terry lol), and Ronaldo is increasing the amount of goals scored in the last games, and not only with United, also with Portugal, and he's obviously the referent of the Portuguese national team.

 Muy buen partido, decidido en el primer tiempo con tres goles y uno de ellos una maravilla de Cristiano Ronaldo que se ha dado cuenta que no solo dribleando se juega al futbol sino tambien haciendo goles. En fechas como estas es cuando te duelen las derrotas contra el Middlesbrough, las dos contra Blackburn y alguno que otro empate, ya que el Chelsea cayo esta fecha ante el Middlesbroug 3-0, y aun no ha empesado la Champions League, no es que este diciendo que se empesara a tropesar el Chelsea una ves empesado la Champions, pero en el futbol cualquier cosa puede pasar.

A very good game, decided in the first half after those 3 goals, one of them a wonder from Cristiano Ronaldo who has starting to score more frecuently, looks like he realized that football is not only dribbling. In fixtures like this one is when those lost games against Middlesbrough, the two games vs Blackburn, and some of the draws hurts, 'cause Chelsea lost agains Boro 3-0, and the Champions league hasn't started yet, i'm not saying that Chelsea will drop points in the Premiereship cause of the CC, but in football everything can happen.

 Exelente partido!! tenia tiempo sin decir esto, sera por que volvio Park?... tal ves, y esta ves anoto el primero del partido despues que su remate dentro del area fue desviado por un defensor del Fulham. Ji-Sung sin duda jugo un gran partido pero esta ves el alma del equipo fue de nuevo Ruud Van Nistelrooy, creo que este ha sido uno de sus mejores partidos de la temporada y eso que no anoto en este partido, el que si volvio a anotar es.. adivinen.... si otra ves Louis Saha!! sin duda le tiene un amor a romper redes, y que decir de Cristiano Ronaldo, simplemente su presencia es un gran aporte, y esta ves ese aporte valio dos goles, uno de elos de tiro libre. Bueno este partido era ganarlo o ganarlo ya que esta misma fecha se enfrentan Chelsea vs Liverpool. Pienso que seria bueno que ganara el Liverpool este partido, a ver que pasa.

Exelent game!! it was a long time without saiying that, 'cause Park is back?... maybe, and this time he scored the first goal of four. Ji-Sung played a great game, but the soul of the team was Ruud Van Nistlerooy, he had one of his best games of this season, and he didn't score, the one who scored on this game again was...guess..yes, Louis Saha found the back of the net again, that is a good habit i must say, and Ronaldo, he was great too, he scored twice and one of those was a very good free kick. Well, this game was win it or win it 'cause this fixture is the match of Chelsea vs Liverpool game. I think that this game has to be won by Liverpool, let's see what happens.

 Un partido caracterizado por un desastre en la defensa del United, se permitieron goles que no se pueden creer, sobre todo el error de Ferdinand, espero que no sigan estos errores, que aunque no son en todos los partidos, afectan y esta derrota le esta dando mas chanse al Liverpool de bajarnos al tercer puesto. Lo bueno del partido fue Louis Saha y Ruud Van Nistelrooy. Saha anoto gol otra ves!!! es increible la racha que esta teniendo el frances que de seguro, si sigue asi, tendra el puesto asegurado en el mundial de Alemania de este año, y Van Nistelrooy que viniendo de la banca le dio vida y esperanza al United, de por lo menos empatar el partido.

This game was a disaster in the defence, United allowed stupid goals, specialy that Rio's header, i hope that those mistakes in defence won't happen again, we're giving liverpool the chance to take the second place in the premiereship, and leting Chelsea scape for real. The good thing in this game was Saha and Van Nistelrooy. Saha scored again, he definitively will have a spot in the french team for the next world cup if he keeps at it, and Ruud, he came from the bench to give United the hope of at least tie the match.

 Parece que lo bueno del partido fue el segundo tiempo, y solo vi el primero.... bueno lo que paso es que deje grabando el juego por que no lo podia ver en vivo y la cinta duro hasta el comienzo del segundo tiempo, por suerte siempre estoy pendiente de SportCenter y pude ver el resumen, gol de cabeza de Rio Ferdinand que tambien le saco de la linea de gol una oportunidad de oro a Cissé, en lo que pudo haber sido gol del Liverpool, pero no fue.
El siguiente partido contra el Blackburn por la vuelta de semifinales de la Carling Cup no lo transmiten aqui, por lo que seran ya tres partidos (bueno 2 y medio, vi el medio tiempo de este partido) consecutivos sin ver al United.

Looks like the real game started in the second half, and i only saw the first half... well the thing was that i couldn't see the live game, so i left a VHS tape recording the game but the tape only recorded the first half an a little of the second half, i'm so careless...it won't happen again. i saw SportCenter on ESPN and the game highlights, that Rio's Clearance!!! and the goal!! and the Neville and Rooney celebrations!! too bad that i couldn't see it live..... Next game is against Blackburn Rovers for the semifinals of the CC, now it will be 3 games in a row that i don't see an United game 'cause here the CC is not transmited.

 Los dos equipos jugaron bien, solo hubo un factor que decidio el 2-0 a favor del City en el medio tiempo, Mikael Silvestre. No es por restarle meritos al City pero de no haber sido por las facilidades que dio Silvestre en defensa no hubieran entrado esos dos goles!!, de verdad dio la impresion de que jugo solo por que habla frances y podia comunicarse con Evra, quien hiso su debut en el United en este partido, no fue el mejor debut pero no se vio mal tampoco.
Me hubiera gustado que hubiese jugado Wes Brown, jugo exelentemente en el partido contra el Arsenal y creo que se merese mas tiempo jugando, y hasta el puesto de titular. Cristiano Ronaldo recibio la roja directa en este partido tras recibir una barrida por detras, que ni siquiera se cobro, y luego tras ir por el balon, Ronaldo se barre, aunque con mala intencion, no fue por detras, ni siquiera taco al jugador pero asi son los arbitros, no lo culpo pero fue totalmente injusto en esa jugada. Al final el City merecio su victoria, pero el United lo pudo haber hecho mejor...

The two teams played really well, there's only one factor that decided the 2-0 lead of City in half time, Mikael Silvestre. I'm not substracting merits to City but i don't think that those goal would have entered if it wasn't for him. I think that he played only 'cause he can speak french and can comunicate with Evra who made his United debut on this game, it wasn't brilliant but i wasn't bad either, he'll improve, i'm sure of it. I think Sir Alex should give Wes Brown the oportunity of being in the united starting lineup, he played really brilliant against Arsenal. Cristiano Ronaldo was sent of in the second half by a direct red card, totaly unfair!!!, he was tackled hard on a early play, and thet he do the hard tackle, without touching the player and, "presto" here's your red card Ronaldo, it was just unfair. At the end, City deserved their win, but United could have done better...

 Un partido muy parejo, cualquiera de los dos pudo haber ganado el partido con un poco mas de suerte pero la suerte no acompaño a ninguno de los dos. Robert Pires tuvo la primera llegada seria del partido con un pase de Francesc Fabregas por sector derecho del area y un remate que apenas puede mandar al tiro de esquina Edwin Van Der Sar. Luego iba a venir la primera clara para el United, un balon que recibe cerca del area Van Nistelrooy, se voltea, encara y saca un remate que apenas contiene Jens Lehmann dando rebote que le queda a Cristiano Ronaldo y la manda a las nubes.
El segundo tiempo tambien estuvo lleno de oportunidades para los dos, por parte de Tierry Henry, Van Nistelrooy, Ronaldo, pero la mas clara fue un penal que le cometio Gary Neville a Fabregas que el arbitro no cobro. Al final del partido el United presiono fuerte al Arsenal que se limito a defender y contragolpear, y estuvo cerca el United de ganarlo con un cabezaso de Wesley Brown que saca de la linea Eboue. En este partido en United no estuvo mal, Ronaldo creaba chances, Rooney buenos pases, pero la batuta del medio campo la tuvo Darren Fletcher ya que todos los balones que salian de la defensa pasaban por sus pies, y tambien estaba hay para apoyar. Cero a Cero al final y el Chelsea le gano al West Ham.

A very close game, Arsenal could have won the game, and so United but luck was no part of this game. Robert Pires had the first great chance in the game for Arsenal, a through pass by Francesc Fabregas and a very good shoot from the rigth side of the area that Van Der Sar sends to corner kick. Van Nistelrooy had his chance for United too, when he faced to the area and shoot on goal, but Jens Lehmann was there, he stoped the shoot but leting the rebound for Ronaldo, but he sends the ball to fly. In the second time there were a lot of more chances for the two teams, but the two clearest chances, for Arsenal was a penalty that was not given by the referee, when Gary Neville did a hard tackle form behind over Fabregas inside the area, and for United, in the lasts minutes of the game, a corner kick, then Wes brown header and Eboue takes the header of the goal line. United played well, but Darren Fectcher was great in midfield, he was ever there to support the attack and defence. well it was nil-nil, and Chelsea won over West Ham.

 Exelente partido, Saha no pierde la costumbre de hacer goles y Wayne Rooney sigue siendo el alma del equipo, simplemente es incansable Wayne, que peleo balones hasta en sector de la defensa. Pero Cristiano Ronaldo, estubo increible, creo jugadas por la derecha y estrello el balon 2 veces en el poste en dos buenas judadas de su parte, y a pesar de eso consigue dos goles, uno por habilitacion de Rooney y el otro fue un exelente pase de Van Nistelrooy desde la izquierda hasta el sector derecho donde estaba Ronaldo con espacio suficiente para llegar al area, destrozarle la cintura a un defensor del Bolton y combertir un verdadero golazo. Ahora vienen los Gunners, y espero que los tres grandes de la final de la Copa FA del 2005, Darren Fletcher, Cristiano Ronaldo y Wayne Rooney juegen este partido.

Exelent game, everyone played very well, Saha is still with his habits of scoring goals and Wayne Rooney is still the soul of the team, it seems like he doesn't get tired, he fights for tha ball in every sector of the field even on defense. But Cristiano Ronaldo, he was amazing, he played well in the right wing, scored two goals and hited the post twice, he could have scored 4 goals in this game!. The first of them, great assistance by Wayne Rooney, and the second one, great pass by Van Nistelrooy and a great goal, the best of this game.  Buen partido, buenos goles los de Ruud y Wayne, pero el United no se puede seguir descuidando en la ultima linea, sobre todo como lo hicieron en el gol de Pandiani. De todas formas el Birmingham se diferencio del West Brom por que analizaron el juego del united y no se dejaron por segunda ves consecutiva. Good game, two great goals by Ruud and Wayne, but United were distracted in defence on those goals scored by birmingham, specialy in the goal scored by Pandiani. Anyway, Birmingham deserved their point, they weren't like West Brom, they analized United game and this time they fougth back. The really great thing of this game, TODAY IS THE FIRST GAME OF THE FIRST TEAM PLAYED BY OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER SINCE THE FA CUP FINAL IN MAY 2004. Solskjaer entered in substitution of Ronaldo, it would have been great if he had scored giving united the 3 points!.

 Exelente partido, otra ves todos estuvieron exelentes!! cada uno de los del United estuvieron de maravilla, en el primer gol pase exelente de Fletcher y gol de pierna izquierda de VanNistelrooy, y el segundo gol exelente pase en corto de Park para que Rooney combierta el segundo gol para el United. El Villa no estuvo opacado, ellos supieron como llegarle al United y con un poco mas de suerte pudieran haber empatado el partido 2 a 2, pero la mas clara fue la que estrellaron el el palo, una muy buena jugada del Villa pero si le contamos esos dos goles al Villa que no le entraron por suerte, tambien le tendriamos que contar los que no entraron para el United, y tal ves el partido habria terminado con un 2-4 en el marcador. Rooney otra ves imparable, incansable y efectivo, y Park ya se merece empesar todos los partidos, de nuevo exelente partido del United.

Again!, this was an exelent game, every player were exelent once again, the first goal great trough pass by Fletcher to VanNistelrooy who scored left footed, and then, in the second half, pass by Park and a great goal by Rooney. United win doesn't mean that Villa played bad, they had their chances, even to draw the game 2-2, but they weren't lucky, anyway you can't win over United with luck, you need more than that to do so, and United could have socred at leat 2 more times, but 0-2 it's ok. Wayne Rooney was brilliant and also Park, i'm very glad that he is starting every game. Come on United, let's catch up Chelsea!!.

 Exelente partido, muy bien jugado por todos, la defensa estuvo solida y el ataque constante, Ryan Giggs simplemente estuvo increible, al igual que Wayne Rooney, que se fue con dos golazos, uno dentro del area que no le pudieron sacar el balon, incluso hasta se cayo y aparte hace el gol con la zurda siendo derecho, y el otro gol, sombrerito al portero. Los otros que anotaron fueron Rio Ferdinad de cabeza y un penal de Van Nistelrooy. hay que mantener esta constancia para poder alcanzar al Chelsea en la punta, hoy el United jugo un partido de total dominio sobre el Wigan.

Exelent game!, very well played for everyone, we had a solid defence and a constant atack, Ryan Giggs simply was awesome, and so Rooney who scored two great goals!, one of them inside the penalty area, left footed shoot, and the other a very well done "sombrerito" over the keeper. The others two goals were a header by Ferdinand and a penalty kicked by Van Nistelrooy. We have to keep constant, playing games like this one to catch Chelsea.  Que le pasa a la defensa?, otro gol concedido en menos de 10min, ya nos habia pasado antes contra el Middlesbrough y West Ham!, el comienzo del partido fue desastrozo en defensa, pero en ataque el United estubo bien, sobre todo con la maravilla Sur-Coreana Park Ji-Sung quien fue incansable en ataque y era quien jugaba y se combinaba con Giggs y Scholes. El gol del Everton sin duda fue un error en defensa que no desaprovecharon, pero el gol del United fue un pase largo de Scholes viendo a un habilitado Giggs que la define como los grandes. Cristiano Ronaldo entro en sustitusion de Park pero dejo mucho que desear.

What's happening in the defence?, another goal conceded in less than 10min, it happened before against Middlesbrough and West Ham, it was a disaster start for the defence, but in atack we were great, Ji-Sung Park was great with his combinations with Scholes and Giggs. Everton's goal was one of those defensive disasters, but United goal was class!, long pass by Paul Sholes and a great shoot by Ryan Giggs. Cristiano Ronaldo entered in substitucion of Park but the korean was way better.

 Dominio total del Manchester, simplemente un juegazo de todo y cada uno de los del United, todos estuvieron exelentes, sobre todo la vuelta goleadora de Paul Scholes que ya se veia venir.
El Portsmouth no tuvo oportunidades claras, solo vagos intentos de gol, Van Der Sar fue el espectador mejor ubicado en Old Trafford en este partido. Simplemente fue un exelente juego del Manchester, el gol de cabeza de Scholes, exelente; el gol rastrero de Rooney, exelente y porsupuesto, el sombrerito de Van Nistelrooy, simplemente genial.
Otra cosa, esto no tiene nada que ver con este partido, pero es algo que he estado esperando desde hace mucho tiempo, PETER CROUCH ANOTO!!!!, le metio dos goles al Wigan Athletic en Anfield para el Liverpool, esperaba que fueran cabezasos pero asi ganara en confianza el gigante del Liverpool.

Incredible game!!, United dominated Portsmouth since the first minute of the game, there was only a few chances without any danger for the Pompey side, Scholes is back in form and he did score a great header, his first goal this season. Van Der Sar was another viewer of the game, every player of united were great, simply a great game for united, and what about the goals!!, That Van Nitelrooy's "Sombrerito" goal was incredible. Ronaldo and Rooney, awesome!! they two did really great. Now is time to think in Benfica.
Another thing, this has nothing to do with the game, but it is something that i have waiting for long time, PETER CROUCH SCORED!!! oh boy at last you did it!!, and twice in the game that Liverpool played today against Wigan Athletic, i was hoping that the goals were headers but is ok, this will give him some confidence.
